About the event

It is our pleasure to announce the semi-annual Frederick County Homesteaders FARM CRAWL on Saturday, June 8th 2024 from 9AM-5PM. Tickets include access to our Lunch on the Lawn event at West Oaks Farm Market.

Lunch on the Lawn attendees will enjoy:

🎻Live music from the Jess Spoon Band

🎈 Children's activities

👩🏻‍🌾 Engage with many of our local makers, homesteaders/farmers, and educational vendors

🥪 Purchase a homesteader themed lunch from West Oaks Farm Market or one of several food trucks featured during the event!

✨Please note: we are trying something new in order to best support our local host farms this season. Therefore the price of lunch is NOT included in the ticketed price but CAN be purchased from local farm friends, West Oaks Farm Market, or one of the food trucks present. We thank you in advance for working with us as we strive to better  serve and promote our farming community.✨

Join us for a day of fun exploring our local farms, getting to know our hard working farmers, and making lots of memories!  This event will include farm specific events, lots of homegrown goodies for sale, farm tours, and Q&A’s with the farmers. Several farms will have CSA sign-ups for the coming season exclusively available the day of the event. This is an excellent way to ensure you are stocked up on delicious meats, veggies, and fruits straight from the farm.

Spotlighting our local farmers while bringing our community together for such a memorable event is the goal. Come prepared to get a little dirty, to meet animals and to learn! You'll have the opportunity to ask plenty of questions and learn the history of our local farms. Farmers love to talk about what they do. Be sure to plan ahead! We encourage Farm Crawler's to pack additional water bottles, sunscreen, and coolers for those tasty farm treats you'll want to bring home with you.

We'll see you soon!
