Join us this October for the Frederick County Homesteaders Fall Farm Crawl—a celebration of local agriculture, homesteading skills, and the vibrant community that keeps it all growing strong.

This self-guided, family-friendly tour invites you to explore working farms and homesteads across Frederick County, VA, all at your own pace. Meet the farmers, makers, and growers who bring food and goods to life with intention and care, then gather together for an unforgettable meal and community experience.

• Check-in & Map Pickup: Begin your crawl at our morning check-in location at Solenberger's Home & Hardware, where you’ll receive your farm map and event guide.

• Farm Tours & Demos: Travel across Frederick County to a curated lineup of farms and homesteads offering tours, demonstrations, hayrides, vineyard tours at Patti's Place at Laurel Grove Wine Farm, seasonal goods, and more.

• Lunch on the Lawn Experience (Included with Your Ticket): Hosted at La Grange Family Farm, this year’s lunch features a Pig Roast by Caleb Fahnestock (with chicken option available), delicious sides by Shaffer’s BBQ (sponsored by Black Valley Creative), live music, a Kid Craft Vendor Fair, and a Farm Animal Petting Zoo for the littles.

• Local Flavor & Fun: From farm stands and specials available the day of the event, to learning opportunities and family-friendly activities, there’s something for everyone.
